Here are some stories that I read today and thought were interesting. (Check back everyday at 6PM for my links):
- Southwest Taking In-Flight Wi-Fi Plunge This Spring [Wi-Fi]
- Zach! From New York!
- 'Ochocinco News Network' covering Super Bowl with fellow NFL players – ESPN
- 'Golden Tee' arcade game to integrate with social media, get more obnoxious | Tech Gear News – Betanews Nick's note: Pretty cool
- Inaugural Sky 3DTV soccer broadcast received warmly, hooligans opt for Michael Jackson & the Grammys instead
- Feel the Energy at PPL Corp. Stadium? Nick's note: SBJ article suggests it will be PPL Park. Decent name, and a decent deal for Union. Although a stadium named “The Sunoco Station” as suggested in the SBJ article would’ve been pretty unique.
- Facebook's New Payment System Off To Great Start, Could Boost Revenue By $250 Million In 2010 Nick's note: Not sure that I want Facebook to have my social network and payment info. Might as well sign over all your life’s data to them.
- Voices from both sides take labor issues to Twitter Nick's note: Interesting stuff that we get to follow because of Twitter.
- Sports Media Watch: Versus To Launch Nightly Show Nick's note: A move that Versus has to make to compete with ESPN. Competition can only make them both better.
- iPad SDK holds hints of video calls, handwriting "keyboard"
- Georgetown And Duke: What Do David And Goliath Look Like Four Years Later? – SB Nation Nick's note: Great article. Great game.
- Georgetown Big Man’s Loyalties Endure – NYTimes.com
- Sources: 96-Team March Madness Is “Done Deal”
- Pool Report: Obama at Duke-Georgetown Basketball Game – The Page by Mark Halperin – TIME.com Nick's note: Hilarious stuff. Tip-off being called “kick-off” might be my favorite.
