Here are some stories that I read today and thought were interesting. (Check back daily at 6PM for my daily links):
- Live streams of Yankees games $49.95 for rest of '09 Seems a bit pricey to me.
- Too much Rod Benson: You've got to be hungry … Rod Benson is the best athlete blogger out there.
- Shazam Now Tweets, Maps Your Music Journeys [IPhone] I love Shazam (a lot) but it deleted all my tagged songs recently. That was disappointing.
- Bruce Springsteen Comes Under Fire in Jersey Ticket Fracas
- Apparent Plagiarism in Chris Anderson’s Free
- MTA selling subway station naming rights Important to note that Barclay’s is buying the naming rights because they already committed to the naming rights of nearby Barclay’s Center, which will be home to the Nets when they move to Brooklyn. Most people aren’t considering that.
As background, the MTA also tried selling the rights to the station outside Citi Field to Citibank, but they declined. As a result, the station is known simply as “Mets.” - How The Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen IMAX Experience Compares with The Dark Knight Interesting to see how film-makers use IMAX in feature length pictures and adapt the use in the future. Sounds like The Dark Knight was more successful than Transformers in doing so.
