The old news: Google bought YouTube for $1.65B. You can listen to the conference call with Eric Schmidt, Sergey, and many others here.
The new(er) news: The YouTube guys posted this video on their site:
Seems like their gloating some, huh? “Thanks for our million dollar payouts. Keep posting your videos. etc”
Surprising decision from the Boss. I think a good one.
Meanwhile, Rob Raissman, a TV columnist for the NY Daily News, says that the Yankees should’ve fired Torre because of TV ad revenue the Yankees could lose on the YES Network as advertisers head for the Mets success. As an outsider, I have a hard time that the NYC-area is so bandwagon that the Mets will have much higher ratings last year. Maybe I’m wrong.
Deal is worth $19.2B. They could’ve bought them selves several copies of YouTube for that much. haha
Guess this means the Knicks will be bad for a while longer.

T.O. will be releasing a three-part childrens’ book series:
- “Little T Learns to Share”
- “Little T Learns What Not to Say”
- “Little T Learns to Say I’m Sorry”
Too bad T.O. doesn’t know how to do any of the three.
This is old news, but it’s too good to be true.
If the Mayor drives his van, then it could be towed away under a plan he championed. Terrific. Congrats Mayor Street!
